ANCIENT ROMAN MOSAIC HAS BEEN DISCOVERED IN ITALY

The texts describing this stunning discovery make generous use of the Passive Voice:

The photo above was posted to Facebook by the town of Negrar, Italy,
where a mosaic floor has been discovered underground.

A beautiful and well preserved mosaic floor from ancient Rome has been discovered by archaeologists in northern Italy.
The discovery was made north of Verona almost a century after the remains of an ancient villa were found on the site.
The elaborate mosaic floor was buried underneath a vineyard. It has been buried since Roman times.

Now a small section of the mosaic has been revealed

The stunning discovery has been made at the time when Italy, the country which has been an epicenter of the pandemic, is reopening after months of closures.
