See? Winston Churchill has vanished from Google’s timeline of British Prime Ministers.
Google has apologized and says it is looking into what went wrong.

• Images in such panels are automatically created and updated. During an update, they can briefly disappear.
Winston Churchill was the British Prime Minister during World War II.
In the 1950s he pointed out the spot in Parliament Square in London where, as he said, “my statue will go”. The monument was unveiled in 1973 by his widow.

The statue was recently vandalized and it had to be boarded up.

Meanwhile, Internet users say that the photos of Hitler are still coming up if one looks for them.

Нужно отдать ему честь, Гугл всё-таки извинился и заявил, что уже занимается выяснением причин произошедшего.

В 1950-х годах Черчилль сам указал место, где будет воздвигнута его статуя. Монумент был открыт в 1973 году его вдовой.
